A February wedding! Of course you assume there will be snow?
With the winter we had been having, I started getting very nervous that we weren’t going to have the pretty white backdrop that we had dreamed for Ron & Ashley’s wedding!
And then the day before the wedding, we got the biggest snow storm of the year… and my new fear was that my assistant wouldn’t be able to make it in from out of town.

NO WORRIES though, because everything went off without a hitch.
Megan made it (and in very good time), and all day Saturday we had beautiful sunny weather with tons of snow to boot.

Amelia Jean {6 days old, newborn photographer, Cambridge Ontario}

It is with great joy that I share the birth of this little girl! I’ve been working with Amelia’s mom for over 9 months now on a few different series!
Look for them in the near future, I’ll share more after I get together with mom and give her a chance to enjoy the photos.

Liam has two of the greatest parents, Bailie and Gary are both very caring and so much in love with their new little boy.
They were both very laid back and helpful during our photo shoot, which always makes things go very smoothly!

Chayla’s Cake Smash, featuring her big sister Cara! {one year old photographer, cambridge, ontario}

Now that things are slowing down a little bit I am going to take some time to blog about what I’ve done all year!
I had the pleasure of photographing my two beautiful niece’s this spring for Chayla’s first birthday (man how the time flies!)

Chayla was just crawling and standing then,

Chayla is seriously SUCH a ham!!
She is always happy, if you need a smile.. just look at these photos! It’s so contagious

We did these photos at my Aunt Michele & Uncle Dave’s house, and we just had to take advantage of their collection of old Coca-Cola products! So neat!

And of course, Cara had her moment of fame (because you can’t have a photo shoot all about one sister and not include the other!!)

And then we FINALLY got to the cup-cake smashin! Always save the best part for last.

Katie & Jamie | Wedding Photographer Cambridge, Ontario

The date: March 17th, 2012… St. Patricks Day!
The colours: White, Green, Black… perfect!

When Katie initially contacted me to book the wedding date, we thought it was going to be a destination wedding, was I ever excited! Other circumstances kept this from happening. However, I think their choice of date, and keeping it local made the wedding a lot of fun anyways! I love working with Katie and Jamie, they’re so photogenic and carefree, it makes my day easier and a considerable amount more enjoyable :) Congratulations on your wedding Katie and Jamie! Look forward to working with you in the future ;)

Catch Up Time!! | Christmas Photography in May :) | Cambridge, Ontario

Hi everyone!

It’s been a very long time since I’ve made a blog post… far too long!
My logic board on my computer broke on me right after I photographed all of my Christmas sessions… but before I got to get my clients their prints! What a stressful time that was! And ever since I have been playing a game of catch up… unfortunately blogging took the back seat because, of course, I wanted to make sure my clients got their products in a timely manner!

I thought I’d start out by posting some of my Christmas sessions.. so here they are!

First up are my gorgeous nieces, ages 9 months and 3 1/2 years!

I rented out the community room for the next few clients, its large windows were a dream to photograph with! The clients are also always a dream :)
